Pete Doherty has revealed he is working on his debut solo album.
The Babyshambles frontman started recording material early in 2007 with producer Jake Fior, and the pair have continued to work around Doherty's band commitments. The album is expected to be completed this summer, with a release shortly afterwards.
Speaking to NME, Doherty said: "All the groundwork for the album is done and I’ve given Jake all my new songs – I’d say it was just over half recorded so far." He confirmed some of the song titles for the 12 track album: 'Ends', 'Cuckoo', 'Siberian Fur', 'For Lovers', 'Darksome Sea' and 'Withdrawn And Shaken'.
