Off the back of their nationwide tour and Mercury Music Prize nomination, the ever-in-your-face Tahita and her musical counterparts return with 'Get Lucky'.
Like the 'Ponies flagship record 'Ice Cream', 'Get Lucky' tightly bangs together pop and electro, is again reminiscent of The Rapture and will too get a second turn at an official release. So where is it different, you cry?
Sadly it's smaller, less hook-ridden and slightly more forgettable. It's edgy, cool and loaded with discothèque beats, but by now this formula is nearing repetitive. It's nothing new and the New Young ones will have to do more to prove they're not One Trick ones.
