The Long Blondes Start On Second Album
More on: The Long Blondes

The Long Blondes have begun work on their new album.

The band have gone into the studio in London with producer Erol Alkan to record the follow-up to their 2006 debut 'Someone To Drive You Home'.

Singer Kate Jackson told NME: "It's amazing developing all these new songs with a completely different process from making the first album, because not everything was set in stone when we came into the studio. We're all excited about being creative again after so long on tour with the first record."

Recording is taking place at Milico Studios, and tracks worked on include 'Nostalgia', 'Here Comes The Serious Bit' and 'Guilt'. The release date is expected to be in 2008.
