If there is a band that screams 2007 then Does It Offend You, Yeah? have to be in line for consideration. They describe themselves as the sound of a ZX Spectrum in a prison shower block. Confused? Well to add some clarity, this basically means three guys from Reading mixing Daft Punk with LCD Soundsystem using the filthiest analogue sounds available. Got that, Yeah?

After gaining recognition for their live shows and remix of Bloc Party's 'The Prayer', DIOYY? release 'Let's Make Out'. This time the robots have been left in the games room, making way for Sebastian Grainger (ex-DFA 1979) to scream himself sick all over the band's Commodore 64s.

This is easily the best thing the band has done, as it actually sounds like a song. Shock, horror! It will no doubt be an electro anthem, up and down the country, but please kids, note that screaming "let's make out" seventeen times to a defenceless young lady with a glow stick isn't going to get you far. Where has all the romance gone?
