The Envy Corps have announced that their guitarist is recovering well from the stroke he suffered in London last week.
Brandon Darner was about to take the stage at Water Rats on 29th August, when the stroke happened. Now the band have posted an update on Darner's progress on their MySpace: "Fortunately enough we were able to get him into hospital nearly immediately, which bodes well for a full recovery. His left side was completely numb at the time of collapse, and over the last two days he has made amazing progress, regaining most of the feeling on that side. Just this afternoon he was having a go at the guitar again.
"Thank you all very much for your continued support, we appreciate everyone who has called, emailed and commented."
The Envy Corps release their new single 'Rhinemaidens' on 8th October.
