Les Savy Fav are set to release their first album in six years, when 'Let's Stay Friends' hits the UK on 1st October.
'Let's Stay Friends', their fourth LP, will be the first original work since 'Go Forth' in 2001. The Brooklyn band will then head over for a couple of UK shows, plus a secret London gig, yet to be announced.

Les Savy Fav have also launched a competition, where fans can create their own video for the new track 'The Equestrian'. The band insist that it needs to be a live performance of the song - karaoke rather than cover. They want you to dress like them, act like them, and make sure you are holding "instruments" and "performing". How you read into "instruments" is up to you, and so is the rest.
To enter, download 'The Equestrian' here, create your own video, then post it on YouTube with the keyowrds "LSF:LSF live video contest". Then email letsstayfriends@frenchkissrecords.com with the subject "LSF:LSF live video contest". Be sure to include your name, contact info and a link to your YouTube submission. The video with the highest rating/most views by 18th September will win $1000 and a trophy.
