'You're The One' is the latest single to be taken from US duo The Black Keys' recent album 'Magic Potion', and is the ultimate in laidback Sunday afternoon music. The simple uncomplicated melody couldn't overload your senses if it tried, but the percussion gives just enough rhythm to get your foot tapping. The lyrics are dreamy and drifting - Dan Auerbach is lulling you to sleep with his voice, and you can't help but like it. It's a great piece, and after you listen to it you wonder why more music can't be this easily satisfying.
'The Way I Feel When I'm With You' is more bluesy rock, but no less great, and the final track 'Work Me' is a live recording made in Boston back in 2005. If this is what they are like live then we eagerly await their tour.
