Guitarist Chris Chinchilla has decided to leave Art Brut, citing personal issues as his reason. Chinchilla has been with the band for two years and it is reported that the split is amiciable.
A replacement has been found in the form of singer Eddie Argos' former band mate Jasper Future, who played with him in The Art Goblins. Jasper Future will join the band for the first time at Bestival on the Isle of Wight this weekend.
A statement from the band reads: [i]"The band are saddened by Chris’ decision to leave but they respect it and look forward to playing with their new recruit Jasper. Anyone wishing to stay in touch with Chris can keep tabs on his movements through his website chinchilla-music.co.uk."
