According to tomorrow's chip paper, Panic! At The Disco want to be the next Radiohead. One of the best and most inventive bands ever being emulated by four pin-up boys from Las Vegas sounds as likely as Thom Yorke confessing his love for showgirls, and since when have Oxfordshire's finest made FM-friendly shiny pop-punk?

'I Write Sins Not Tragedies' is based around singer Brendon Urie witnessing a doomed wedding, and the chorus may go "haven't you people ever heard of closing the goddamn door?", but we're expecting it to be followed with "were you born in a barn?".

Taken from album 'A Fever You Can't Sweat Out' for the second time, it's 3:09 of polished, industry-standard quiet/loud/quiet sections full of power chords and crashing cymbals.

The ill-fated bride and groom really should have done their homework before choosing to 'join hands'. By law no marriage can last more than 72 hours in the band's native city; thank heaven for pre-nuptial agreements.
