'Chronicles Of A Bohemian Teenager (Part One)' is, well, it just is. It's a song that's just there without ever really affecting your eardrums in any way. Sam Duckworth honks his way through this mid-tempo acoustic number sounding vaguely like Billy Bragg. Well, by 'vaguely' we mean 'quite a lot', but he's never able to grab your attention in a way Bragg definitely would.
Lyrically, it's a reasonably clever tale of teenage disillusionment, but the tune doesn't go anywhere despite the addition of some vague, meandering electro to the delicate guitar bits mid-way through, and before you realise it you've stopped listening and wandered off to do something else.
Essex chap Sam's clearly got some talent, and this might appeal to a few chin-stroking disenfranchised souls, but 'Chronicles Of A Bohemian Teenager (Part One)' really isn't very interesting. Great moniker, though.
