Oh right, this is one of those bands beginning with 'The'. It's easy to get them mixed up, and find it difficult to distinguish between some of them, and The Rifles are one of those such bands. A lack of a killer chorus lets this track down badly, as it plods along, surely only set to please fans of nondescript indie-rock.
'She's Got Standards' is perfect evidence of why The Rifles haven't made themselves stand out. It's bog-standard stuff that fails to make an impact of any sort. Maybe a change of name to something a little less mundane would improve their fortunes? But if 'she' has got standards, then she'll be giving these guys a miss for now.
