Roskilde festival has sold out ten days before the festival is set to begin.
A statement made by the organisers reads: "In 10 days the festival begins, and we can already now inform you that Roskilde Festival ’06 is sold-out. This year’s ticket sales have exceeded all expectations, and people from all over the world have rushed to the ticket offices.
Please note that it is not possible to buy one-day tickets but you can still buy Sunday and children’s tickets at the entrances as they will not be sold out. Sunday tickets are only sold on Sunday, 2 July. And if you are over 60 years of age, admittance is free of charge on Sunday, 2 July."
