There's something rather satisfying about a band fulfilling their potential. It's a long while since Clickmusic was tipped off about a young Welsh troupe being eyed up by Kaiser Chiefs' label for big things. They'd only played a handful of gigs, but one track doing the rounds suggested they might just end up being bloody huge.
That band would be The Automatic then, and there's no prizes for guessing the title of the song. Back then it was a yelping, screaming God-damn essential call to arms. Now it's even better. Buzzing, beeping and riffing its way to the best acapella vocal break of 2006 full stop, it's more than a little bit ace.
