"Me animal/you animal". As hook lines go, it's a pretty good one, but Duels knew that anyway.
Signed to Nude, and therefore rightful successors to the Britpop crown by default, there's something unnervingly catchy about the Leeds-based gang's third single. A keyboard riff plucked right from the brain of Albarn, lyrics as androgynous as Cocker, and the whole thing put together with more psychedelia than your average hippie's house party, it sounds like a hit single.
While the hype may not be deafening, if songs are allowed to do the talking, this 'Animal' should roar.
