Nobody explained the concept of the three minute pop song to Be Your Own Pet. Despite being from Nashville, Tennessee, there's no Dolly Parton to their swagger; instead 'Let's Get Sandy' is intense, loud, old style punk rock. Oh, and it's less than a minute long.
Jemima Pearl is already a star. She's hardly in tune, but that doesn't matter; it's all in the delivery. Screaming like her life depends on it, there's so much energy in the song's 59 seconds that it puts others to shame.
Imagine the sound of a car crash, your brain exploding, a nuclear meltdown. They enjoy it. That's what 'Let's Get Sandy' is like.
